We're back! It's the FiestaMovement revisited

Well, here we go again.

Ford has kicked off the FiestaMovement once again.

We can't believe that it's been four years since we took 'Vortex', our Ford Fiesta out on the road for 25,000 miles! What we learned at the LVMS

We had a great time at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for our 5th Fiesta Movement mission. One thing that we didn't get in our main video was our interaction with a 14 year old driver named Dylan Kwasniewski.

Dylan, the #3 driver at the LVMS, is one of the most impressive kids that I have spoken to. He not only has talent for racing around the track in the Pro Legend (LVMS track holder) and Trucks (for the first time Labor Day weekend) but has the personality to back it up. His attitude is not that of a budding superstar as one would expect -- there is no apparent 'I am the world attitude.' He is well-spoken, gracious, and very down to earth.

I think if the world was full of kids like Dylan, we would all feel a little better about our futures. Check out the video interview with Dylan HERE. This sums up how we felt when we returned home from our 48 state road trip in July. All in all we drove 12,000 miles in hitting all the lower 48 and D.C.

A Ferry Ride on the Mississippi

A week into our 48 state road trip we were able to take a ferry ride on the Mississippi River. It was a fun adventure from Dorena, MO to Hickman, KY (round trip really.) It was pretty funny the ferry operators had picked up a dog on the KY side on the first run that morning and he rode the ferry all day back and forth from MO to KY. A Day with Dogs for the Deaf

We spent a day with Dogs for the Deaf in Central Point, OR for mission 4 of the Fiesta Movement. Learned about the different ways they train dogs to help out people. What a great organization. Thanks to the Fiesta Movement for donating $500!
